Calzones & Ice Cream

Tuesday evening, my mom, dad, sister, a couple of friends of mom and dad's, and myself went to eat at my sister's favorite little place to eat in downtown Chattanooga, Lupi's! It's a cool little pizza place and it's very yummy to the tummy! :) After eating, we walked around downtown Chatt town and got some ice cream and just relaxed. We had a great evening! Happy Anniversary, Kyle & Bridget!

This past Saturday, June 25, 2011, was my brother Kyle and my sister in law Bridget's 6 year anniversary! Happy Anniversary to you both! Love you guys!! My mom, dad, and I got to go and keep little miss Ivey Ann Saturday night so the couple could go out for a date! We had a great time!

Little Liza Jane???

In case you're wondering why my blog title is "Little Liza Jane", I have prepared an explanation. :) Back in 1991, country artist Vince Gill came out with a song entitled "Liza Jane". If you ask anyone who has known me, they would know that I've been singing since I could talk, and one of my most favorite things to do as a child was memorize the lyrics to songs. My mom tells me that this particular song was one that I would run around singing constantly when it was first released. This is how I gained my nickname, Liza Jane, or Liza for short. You are most likely to hear my mom or sister calling me this. It's become as common to me as Whitney has. Here is a link to the song....enjoy! :)

Lately...

Life has been full of exciting events for me lately, and I'd like to share them with you! First of all, I will be starting my new job as a Speech Therapist at Premier Therapy soon! I couldn't be more excited...or more nervous for that matter! My long lost sister, Brooke, is coming home to my parents house on Sunday for a few weeks! I have not seen her since Christmas, so I'm very excited to see her and hear about her and my BIL's recent trip to Africa!! Next up, I am leaving for 5 days to go to the beach with my sweet boyfriend, Matthew!! I can't wait! He's been working so hard studying for his summer classes and he deserves a break! I will post pictures after we return. And last, but certainly not least, my best friend, Danielle, has been in Barcelona, Spain for the entire month of June, and she will be returning on July 3rd! I can't wait to see her and hear all about her trip as well! This has been a wonderful experience for her, and I am so glad she's had such a great time! One last thing I just remembered, I'm going tomorrow to spend the day/night with my favorite baby girl, my niece Ivey! She's always provides a fun day! That is all for right now! I'm still here

It's been a couple of weeks since I have blogged, but I am still here! I've been pretty busy lately....On a positive note, I got my first "big girl" job!!!! Yes, I am going to be doing Speech Therapy at Premier Therapy in Fort Payne, Alabama. I am very excited and nervous all at the same time, so prayers are appreciated! :) Also, if you're reading this, share my blog with your fellow bloggers... I need more followers! :)

Wedding Season!

Did I mention how much I love wedding season?!? Well, I do! Weddings are so exciting to me, and I have the privilege of being a bridesmaid in 2 of my very best friend's weddings coming up, one in August and one in February of 2012! I also am getting the honor of singing in both of them as well! I couldn't be more excited and happy for them both! Here are a few pics from my wonderful friends, Janna and Bryan's shower that was this past weekend! We had a great time just getting to see everyone and fellowship!
